Baby Shower Truffles

This post has been sitting in the archives for a couple of weeks now. I made truffles as prizes for a co-workers baby shower. I experimented with a few flavors including: Meyer Lemon and Thyme, Grand Marnier and Honey, but the favorite were the Vietnamese Cinnamon and Cayenne. I wanted to post them before the baby was born, so here they are...

  1. Cute, cute, cute. Truffles are still something I've never tried. Your flavors sound divine.

  2. I like the idea of cayenne pepper in them! Just yesterday, I posted a German cookie recipe (my husband and I live in Germany), and it had pepper in it.. which seems so weird as an American. But it makes all the difference, as I'm betting the pepper does in this recipe, too.
I can't believe how easy it looks!

  3. I've been wanting to make these since I first read the post. I'm doing the favours for a friend's wedding and try your recipe. Oh and badger you for the lemon and thyme one too, I bet for a lemon lover like me that's divine.
